We saw minke whales, dolphins, seals etc. and caught plenty of fish. Billy operates a very slick professional set up & runs a very tight ship. Rum, the wild island, is the washed-out remains of a magma chamber with a history stretching back 8000 years! Our 4×4 adventure takes us across the island, highlighting the mountain panoramas that overlook the Lochs where we fish. The secluded lochs that are rarely visited by people yet provide superb fly-fishing opportunities
The possibility of catching tremendous pollock and a range of other species, including saithe and spur dogs, is one of the benefits of sea angling on the volcanic banks that surround the islands of Eigg and Muck. This region is incredibly gorgeous, with fantastic wildlife viewing and excellent dining options on the islands.
Fishing equipment is available upon request. We can use the islands as our base of operations for multiday excursions. Anglers of all skill levels can expect a trip that is tailored to their needs and includes advice on the best approach for each species.
